Soldered BMV080 Particulate Matter Sensor

This breakout carries a Bosch BMV080, a particulate matter sensor that measures how much fine dust is in the air as PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentration, in µg/m³. It has no fan and no moving parts, so it runs silently. It talks over I2C (a two-wire bus for talking to chips) by default, runs on 3.3 V, and has two Qwiic connectors so you can wire it up without soldering.

PM2.5 means particles 2.5 µm across or smaller, PM1 and PM10 the same for 1 µm and 10 µm. The BMV080 measures particles carried past it by the natural airflow, using a laser and photodetectors instead of a fan, and gives a new reading about once a second. A duty cycling mode measures only now and then and sleeps in between, which saves power on a battery.

The board ships set to I2C at address 0x57. Solder jumpers select three more addresses, and another jumper switches the sensor to SPI. The 7-pin header fits a breadboard, and its IRQ pin brings out the sensor's interrupt line.
